If you’ve got a question, we have your answer! While there’s no boiler-plate when it comes to catering your special day, we’ve gathered a few common questions that may assist you in your planning process. Each event is unique in its own way, and we encourage you to call us to discuss all the wants and needs for your perfect event.

Q. When do I need to book catering services?

A. While timing varies by the needs of the event, we generally recommend at least 6-9 months for an off-site event and 9-12 months for an on-site event. But, please don’t let these guidelines deter you from giving us a call; if we’re available, we are always happy to help!

Q. How much will a catered event cost?

A. There is no secret formula for computing a price. All of our services are customized to fit the need of the client. Prices vary depending on the menu and selections (chicken or steak; china or solo). A meeting is necessary to determine your needs and the fees for the scope of service.

Q. Do you supply bar services?

A. Yes. We can provide a full range of bar services (and alcohol) to fit your needs. Or, you can provide your alcohol, and we can provide bartending services at off-site venues where this is allowed.

Q. Am I responsible for acquiring rental items needed for my event?

A. No. Sweetwater provides all required rental items for your event.

Q. What happens to leftovers?

A. We do provide leftovers to clients, as long as the food quality has not been compromised and it is still safe to consume. We are not responsible for appropriate handling after food has left our possession.

Q. How do I determine pricing for my event?

A. In order to determine real pricing, all potential clients need to meet with our event design team for aconsultation. It depends on where you are and what your venue offers…

Q. How can I schedule a tasting?

A. Tastings are offered once a menu has been discussed and narrowed down. Sweetwater offers both chef’s choice tastings and full tastings. Please consult an event designer to book your tasting appointment and to discuss the tasting charge.

Q. How do I book your services?

A. 25% deposit and a signed catering agreement will secure your date on calendar. After the initial deposit, a payment schedule will be arranged.

Q. How many people can your venue accommodate?

A. Seated dinners up to 70 – cocktail parties up to 100 We also accommodate smaller parties in our private dining areas.

Q. Do you offer gluten-free, vegetarian or vegan options?

A. Yes. Customized menus are available with consultation.

Q. Do you charge for cake cutting and corkage fees?

A. No
